StateView Gets Loud for SickKids

In Fall 2021, we at StateView Homes were proud to be a sponsor and Matching Gift donor for SickKids GetLoud presented by PCL Construction. This annual event raises funds that go toward the building of a new children’s hospital, continued breakthrough discoveries, and partnering with healthcare groups to deliver world-class care to more kids outside the hospital walls. In September, everyone was invited to run, walk, ride and track kilometres toward donating. During that month, we took part in a three-day “match” campaign, and as a result, we donated over $120,000!

At StateView, we understand that it is people who transform a house into a home. Giving back to the greater community by helping families with children is high on our list of charitable priorities … and for families with children who have serious injuries or illnesses, a temporary “home” is often Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). We have been supporting fundraising efforts for SickKids since our company was established in 2009.

Congratulations, SickKids, on your internationally recognized work. We know that donating to your causes means the money will be used for the right reasons, such as research and initiatives to help fulfill high-priority needs. As our V.P. of Sales & Marketing, Julian Uccello, says, “Children are our most vulnerable residents, and we want to help make sure that the services they need at SickKids are always available. If the kids have a smile on our faces, so do we.”
